Underwater : Marine robotics for exploration, surveying, and construction

The vast size and sometimes extreme conditions of marine environment is one of the most challenging for robotics applications. From underwater environment mapping to infrastructure monitoring, from maritime rescue to human divers assistance in manned missions, the marine robotics has grown rapidly lowering costs, improving efficiency and reducing the risks of marine operations. The emerging generation of systems are now being designed to operate independently and make on-the-spot decisions with no direct human control.
The track is aimed to promote exchange and sharing of experiences and vision about this rapidly evolving technology area.
